Registration will begin every morning from 8:00 am and finish at 8:30 am. Please note, we cannot accept registration before this time. Your child/children will participate in lots of big activities over the course of their time at holiday club.
With any luck, by the time pick-up arrives at 4:15 pm you will be picking up very tired but incredibly happy children. Pick-up time finishes promptly at 4:30pm.
Please note, we will require proof of identification upon pick-up. Identification that will be accepted is passport, driving licence, and credit/debit cards where your name is stated. If you wish to have someone other than the next of kin pick up your child/children, we will require a signed and dated permission slip at registration that morning.
Please find below an example of our daily schedule for the holiday club. These are subject to change, so please prepare accordingly.
A typical day at our holiday club will consist of:
- 8:00 – 8:30 Registration
- 8:30 – 9:30 Small warm-up activity
- 8:30 – 10:45 Get-to-know-you games activity
- 10:45 – 11:00 Morning snack break
- 11:00 – 12:15 Instructor led activity #1
- 12:15 – 13:30 Lunch
- 13:30 – 14:45 Instructor led activity #2
- 14:45 – 15:00 Afternoon snack break
- 15:00 – 16:15 Instructor led activity #3
- 16:15 – 16:30 Pick-up time
Each day may consist of watersports, high ropes, climbing, archery, catapult shoot-out, abseiling, and many more. Every morning our instructors will ask everyone what activities they want to do, and we will try our best to fit them in.
Please find below a recommended kit list. Even if you have not booked a day where watersports is planned, please bring appropriate kit regardless.
- Clothing you can get dirty
- You will need a pair of shoes for indoor wear and a separate pair for outdoor wear
- Wet weather gear (either a set of clothing to change into for watersports, or a spare set to change into after)
- A waterproof coat
- A towel (for watersports)
- Sun cream
- A refillable drinks bottle
- Snacks to last 2 breaks
- Pocket money (maximum £5)
Every child is required to bring their own packed lunch. Please bring enough food to last them through the day. We will supply refreshments such as squash, however we ask that you bring any and all foods your child may wish for. We will have two snack breaks in addition to lunch as they will be very active throughout the day, so please ensure that they have enough food to last the whole day.
We have a few children attending who are allergic to nuts. We ask for nut-based products to be left at home, please.
We have a small tuck shop on site which can be opened before pick-up. Inky's shop contains small games, snacks, drinks, and Eaton Vale merchandise. If you wish to send your child/children with pocket money for the shop, please seal it in an envelope or re-sealable bag, with your child's name and the amount enclosed written either on or in the bag.
Eaton Vale operate a consent policy meaning all participants have consent for their photos being taking and use in official Eaton Vale purposes such as marketing. If you do not wish your child to feature in any photos, you must inform Eaton Vale before the start of the holiday club. We have an exempt from photography form you must fill in if you wish for your child to not be included in photographs. Please get in contact with the office if you require one of these forms.
We may include food tasting in one of our activities during the holiday club. If your child/children have any food allergies, please make us aware of this before the start of holiday club (unless already stated on the booking form as medical information).
If your child requires medication to be administered during their time at Holiday Club, we will require written instructions regarding how to administer it. Please include information on when, how, and any other information you feel our instructors would need to know. Even if your child is able to self-administer, please include this information regardless.
