Apprentice Team Leader; Outdoor Learning Specialist (Level 5)

We are seeking an individual who has excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as an ability to engage positively with a diverse range of people and an ability to use their own initiative.

The role is varied and requires the ability to act as a role model, supervising, supporting, monitoring, leading, and developing other activity instructors to ensure that the centre achieves its objectives.

Alongside this you will also instruct, supervise, engage with and be responsible for groups and young people taking part in a wide range of activities and programmes.

As team leader you will also support in the maintenance of activity equipment furthermore undertaking some cleaning and maintenance duties will also be required.

The team leader will also be a key part of our risk assessment and standard operating procedures writing process, you will also be involved in event and programme creation and delivery.

The team leader is a in vital part of the smooth operating of Eaton Vale. The apprenticeship will enable the successful candidate to gain skills and knowledge around leadership and management, whilst also obtaining a number of NGB qualifications.

Hours: Fixed term contract of 30 hours a week

Salary:

£11.94 per hour

£18,626.40 per year

Contract Dates: 2 Year apprenticeship following start date. Start date to be earliest possible post interview date.

Requirements: Candidates must be 18+ at the date of interview
