May Half term and Summer Holidays now open!
Holiday Club
We run an action-packed holiday club for children aged between 8 and 14 with arrivals from 8:45 and collection by 16:30.
We follow a ‘challenge by choice’ policy here, so no one will ever be forced to do something they do not wish to. With this in mind, you’ll be amazed at the confidence they will gain from challenging themselves here at our Activity Centre.
Holiday Club runs Monday to Fridays throughout all school holidays (excluding bank holidays and the December break).
Prices and how to book
The price per person per day is £33 and can be booked online here
Daily Schedule for Holiday Club
Each day on Holiday Club will be really varied and could be very different.
The activities that young people will take part in will be planned around the qualifications of the instructors running the provision that day, alongside the weather forecast. We also fit our Holiday Club provision in around any other bookings that the centre has that day therefore it is impossible to say what activities we will be doing each day.
Young people will be split into groups for these activities. We may not keep siblings together and there may be times where to ensure ratio’s we need to split up large friendship groups. However there is plenty of free time during the day for young people to still spend time together.
An example day at our holiday club will consist of:
- 8:45 – 9.00 Registration
- 9:00 – 12.00 Activity sessions including a break
- 12:00 – 1:00 Lunch and free time
- 1.00 – 3.45 Activity sessions including a break
- 3.45: Shop and free time
- 4.00 – 4.30 Pick-up time

Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities.
Eaton Vale Scout and Guide Activity Centre is committed to supporting all young people to succeed. We recognise as an outdoor provider we are often the perfect environment for young people that may find traditional settings more challenging. We would ask that families share with us as much information as they can on sign up so that we can ensure your young person’s time at our Holiday Club is successful and a positive experience for them.
However as a Centre delivering activities that have a high level of risk, and as a centre working with groups of young people we have some base line expectations that we require of all young people who attend. Young people need to be able to follow adult instructions as part of a group. They need to be able to remain engaged within a session or area for the full length of a session (around 1hr) and their ability to interact and engage with others independently is in line with age expectations.
If we deem it that young people are not able to meet these base expectations and as a result are putting themselves or others at risk and/or that their behaviour is having a negative impact on the enjoyment for others we will charge an additional fee of £30 (on top of the costs for the place) to provide 1:1 support to enable young people to succeed. We have a limited number of spaces per day for 1:1 support, if we reach capacity, we may not be able to accept your young person.
Each and every young person is different, and this will be discussed with families on a case by case basis.
Cancellations
Unfortunately, we are not able to offer refunds for dates booked that young people are not able to attend.
If you have any questions about your booking, please contact us quoting your booking reference.
